The Fire House
Hi this is Clare,
today we went to the fire house and learned a couple things from them like to have a meeting place when there's a fire,also to make sure that we practice for a fire,and stop drop and roll if your clothes get on fire, and so many more things we learned today. We also went into a fire house and practiced if there was a real fire it was really fun!I hoped you injoyed learning a little bit about
the fire house.

Pumpkin Pie in a Cup
On Friday, we did a collaborative cooking activity with Ms. Burns' fifth grade class. We made delicious pumpkin pie in a cup. As a language arts tie in, we put the recipe steps in the correct order (SEQUENCING)! We were all very brave and we all tried the pumpkin pie in a cup (even if we thought that eating pumpkin sounded pretty gross). EVERYONE loved the pumpkin pie and we had a great morning.

Welcome to the 2015-2016 year of Third Grade!!!
I am so excited to have your child in my class. We are going to be learning so much this year while having a lot of fun. Please use this website as your source for ALL of our classroom happenings.
You can access our newsletters and calendars by clicking on the corresponding tabs above. Also, you can access all of the information from our reading series and math by using the Classroom Resources tab. There are links to the current vocabulary for both math AND reading. You can also view the family newsletters that are sent home at the beginning of each unit.
By clicking on the Classroom Documents tab you will be able to access various documents that have been sent home such as info for signing up for Infinite Campus, Class Dojo and Remind.
Don't forget to take a look at the picture gallery of our first day of third grade! Be sure to complete the photo permission form so that I can post your child's photos!! Only visitors that have the link to the website will be able to view the pictures.
